Admission to ICan is open to all students who are eligible under the laws of the State of Florida for admission to public school.  In accordance with federal laws, no student will be denied admission to ICan based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, disability, aptitude, or athletic ability.  Preference is given to students as the law allows. Students applying to Kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before September 1st upon entry.

The following documents must be submitted with the application or the application will be considered incomplete and will not be reviewed for admission:

  1. Original Birth Certificate (we will make copy)

  2. Social Security Card

  3. Blue and Yellow Forms from Physician (original Immunization and Physical records)

  4. Proof of Residency (Electric bill, Cable bill or Lease Agreement)

  5. A recent photo of your child (photo can be taken at time of submission)

Lottery: In compliance with State Statute, a lottery must be held to select students for openings when the number of applicants is greater than the number of available seats in a grade level.
