ICan Charter Academy, Inc. will meet the needs of the whole family by providing services on its campuses for children, youth and adults. ICan will build strong foundational skills for its students to ensure academic success while the students are having fun and learning to enjoy education. Our students will discover how enjoyable learning can be in their own ICan Children’s-Like Zone (aka “The Zone”).
In The Zone, our students will learn to respect one another, learn together, and learn to work together. Our highly-qualified staff will have a passion and love for all children, will strive to create innovative learning opportunities and will assist all students in preparing them for academic success. In The Zone, learning will be exciting and relevant.
Innovative Learning Includes
ICan will use arts integration in all subject areas, a modified year-round academic calendar, and character development as intricate components of its instructional program. These program methodologies will exercise the brain, decrease levels of stress and depression, and increase the student’s ability to concentrate or focus for longer periods of time. ICan Charter Academy will ensure technology will be a major program component, as well. The earlier we engage our students in technology the stronger and more astute they will be as they move on their educational pathways and prepare to successfully compete in a global society.
Students will have core curriculum with a strong emphasis in Reading, Writing, Mathematics and Character Development and which meets Florida standards.
